BOTAN ZIRVE HIKING TRAIL


The route starts from 300 meters from the Antik Hiking Trail. After reaching up to Gökçebağ settlement, it is twisted back to the valley to climb up to 1180 meters, the highest point of the project area in Botan. Though it is narrow, the trail is very distinct and reaches up to one of the most spectacular views of the Botan Valley. The 10 km long route's first stage up to Gökçebağ is rated as "Medium", whereas the second stage is "Advanced". No water source is found on the route.

The mobile phone coverage of Turkcell, Vodaphone and Avea are average along the road whereas it is full at the end of the route.

Details of the route



The route starts from next to Siirt-Eruh highway with a nice view of the Botan Valley.


The Gökçebağ settlement is left below while the route climbs within a sparsely wooded forest.


A spectacular scenery is waiting for you at the top of the Botan Valley.
